  • Understands that a qualified lawyer must be consulted, with full particulars of the User’s situation, to obtain proper legal advice.

  • Acknowledges that the Website does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for professional consultation.

  • Releases 10(b) Criminal Law Centre, its lawyers, and employees from any liability arising from reliance on any content on the Website.

  • Understands that any information or material submitted via the Website (contact forms, email, or otherwise) is not guaranteed to be reviewed, responded to, or treated as confidential until a retainer agreement is executed.

  • Agrees to promptly retain and consult a lawyer regarding any legal matter.

  • Consents and agrees to the terms, including the collection and use of personal and non-personal data, as set out in the Privacy Agreement below.

  • Acknowledges that contacting the firm through the Website, email, or phone does not in itself create a lawyer–client relationship.

  • Acknowledges that the Website is operated solely by 10(b) Criminal Law Centre Professional Services and is not a lawyer referral service.

  • Acknowledges that any external links or third-party content are outside the control of 10(b) Criminal Law Centre and accepts that the Website has no responsibility for such content.
  • The User uses the Website at their own risk. The Website and its contents are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date.

  • By using this Website, the User agrees that all disputes relating to the Website shall be governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada, and adjudicated exclusively in the courts of Ontario.

  • The User agrees not to send confidential or privileged information through the Website. Until a formal retainer agreement is signed, information submitted may not be protected by solicitor–client privilege.

  • The Website and all its contents are the property of 10(b) Criminal Law Centre Professional Services and are protected by Canadian copyright law. The User is not permitted to copy, reproduce, or distribute Website content without prior written consent.

  • The User’s license to use the Website is automatically terminated if the User breaches any part of this Agreement. The Website reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time without notice.
